Palace weddings use a lot of candlelight and chandeliers — how do you adjust makeup for that warm ambient light?
Palace chandelier light is usually 2,700–3,000K — deep warm-gold. Cool-toned contour products turn muddy under it, and white highlight flashes almost green on camera. So for Jaipur we shift the entire palette a half-step warmer: peach-toned blush instead of pink, golden champagne highlight instead of silver, bronze-brown contour instead of cool grey. Foundation is matched under warm artificial light, not studio daylight.
Will the dry desert air ruin my skin prep through a full day of functions?
It will if the prep is generic. For Jaipur we use two layers of hydrating primer (not one), apply a mist between foundation and setting, and keep a hydration spray in the touch-up kit for refresh rounds between ceremonies. Your skin won’t crack, your makeup won’t flake — that’s the standard. Anything less and by hour eight you’re re-doing everything on a stressed bride.
Can the team handle outdoor morning functions and evening palace receptions on the same day?
Yes — morning haldi or mehndi in an open lawn plus evening palace reception is the default Jaipur structure. Morning gets a dewier, less-finished look that photographs well in natural sunlight. Evening gets full matte-set bridal with warmer blush and a bolder lip, ready for chandelier light and flash photography. The team stays with you for touch-ups through both sessions.
