Your First ‘Yes’ Deserves a Beautiful Moment
Traditional elegance meets modern refinement. Roka and sagan makeup by Shivangi Verma — crafted for the ceremony where both families see you as a bride for the very first time.
WHAT’S ON YOUR MIND
Why Your Roka Deserves More Than “I’ll Manage on My Own”
“Is it really worth hiring a professional for just a roka?”
Here’s what happens at a roka: both families sit across from each other. Everyone looks at you. Your future in-laws form their first impression. Your own family shows you off. A photographer captures every blessing, every smile, every ring exchange.
Those photos get shared in family groups the same evening — and they never get deleted.
This isn’t “just a roka.” It’s the first chapter of your wedding story, and it’s being documented and judged in real time. A ₹15,000 investment in looking composed, polished, and radiant in front of both families is the most cost-effective confidence you’ll buy in your entire wedding journey.
✦ First-impression moment · documented forever
“I don’t want to look overdone for a family ceremony”
Neither does Shivangi. Roka makeup is built for a different register than bridal — think refined, not dramatic.
A flawless base with natural coverage. Eyes that are defined but not smokey. A lip colour that flatters without demanding attention. Jewellery-forward looks where the makeup supports, not competes.
The goal is that every aunt says “she looked so pretty and natural” — not “she was wearing a lot of makeup.”
✦ Refined, not dramatic · aunt-approved
“Everyone in the room will be watching me — including my new in-laws”
That’s exactly why this matters. Your future mother-in-law, your nani, your bua, your partner’s entire extended family — they’re all forming an opinion.
Shivangi creates roka looks that read as effortlessly put-together across generations. Elders see a well-groomed, traditional bride-to-be. Your friends see a modern, styled version of you. The camera sees flawless skin that doesn’t need a filter.
✦ Reads across every generation in the room

FROM OUR ROKA BRIDES
What Roka Brides Say
“I almost didn’t hire a professional for my roka — I thought it was too small an event. I’m so glad I did. When I walked in and saw my mother-in-law’s face light up, I knew it was worth every rupee.”
— Roka Client
Faridabad
“Shivangi did my makeup AND my mom’s for the sagan. We both looked polished without looking overdone. The family photos from that day are still the ones we have framed at home.”
— Roka + Family Makeup Client
Delhi NCR
“I was worried I’d look too ‘done up’ for a roka. But the final look was so natural — everyone kept saying how fresh and pretty I looked. Not a single person said ‘nice makeup.’ They said ‘you’re glowing.’ That’s exactly what I wanted.”

ROKA FAQS
Roka Makeup FAQs
How is roka makeup different from bridal or engagement makeup?
Roka makeup is the lightest of the three — designed for a smaller, more intimate ceremony where the focus is on looking polished and natural rather than dramatic. Coverage is lighter, eyes are defined but not smokey, and the overall finish reads “effortlessly well-groomed” rather than “bride in full regalia.” It’s specifically calibrated for family-room lighting and close-up conversation rather than grand venue photography.
Can Shivangi do makeup for my mother, sisters, and cousins on the same day?
Yes. Family and party makeup is available starting at ₹8,000 per person. For roka events, most families book makeup for the bride-to-be plus 2–4 family members. Shivangi’s team services multiple people simultaneously so everyone is ready before the ceremony begins. For groups of 3+, the team can come to your home.
Do you provide at-home roka makeup in Delhi NCR?
Yes. Roka makeup can be done at our Sector 16 Faridabad studio, at your home anywhere in Delhi NCR, or at the ceremony venue (hotel, banquet, or home). Most roka clients prefer at-home service since the ceremony is often held at the bride’s family home. Travel within Delhi NCR is included in the pricing.
My roka is small — is it still worth booking a professional?
Absolutely. Small rokas are often the most photographed family events — both families in one room, close-up blessings, ring exchange portraits. These photos get shared in family WhatsApp groups within hours and become the first public image of you as a bride-to-be. Looking composed and radiant in those photos sets the tone for your entire wedding journey.
