Reception makeup is bolder than bridal makeup: sharper contours, deeper smokey eyes, a stronger lip, and a radiant finish that holds up under venue lighting, flash photography, and hours of dancing. Shivangi Verma creates reception looks that are modern, glamorous, and tailored to your outfit — whether that’s a beaded gown, a cocktail saree, or a flowing lehenga. We use HD or airbrush techniques and premium brands (MAC, NARS, Dior, Charlotte Tilbury, Huda Beauty) for a finish that looks flawless in person and extraordinary in photographs.

How is reception makeup different from bridal makeup?
Reception makeup is typically bolder and more contemporary — stronger eye, sharper contour, a deeper lip, and often a dewier or satin base instead of a full matte. Bridal makeup is traditional and built for daylight rituals; reception makeup is built for evening venue lighting and camera flash.
Can I book the same artist for both my wedding and reception?
Absolutely — and we strongly recommend it. A single artist across functions gives you consistency, saves time on consultations, and usually comes with a package discount. Most of our brides book Shivangi for the full wedding sequence (mehndi, sangeet, haldi, wedding, reception).
How long will reception makeup last?
Professionally applied reception makeup lasts 8–12 hours without major touch-ups when using our HD or airbrush techniques and setting products. You’ll get a touch-up kit for lipstick refreshes throughout the evening.
Do you travel to the reception venue?
Yes. We service reception makeup at our Faridabad studio or at your venue anywhere in Delhi NCR. For destination receptions, travel and accommodation are quoted separately.
