How far in advance should I book my bridal makeup artist?

Do you offer a bridal makeup trial session?

Yes. We strongly recommend a trial before your wedding day. During the trial we test products on your skin, match the look to your outfit, and finalise every detail so there are no surprises on the big day and you walk in 100% confident. Trials are done 1–2 months before the wedding at our Sector 16 studio.

What happens on the wedding day — what’s the process?

Shivangi and her full team (hairstylist, draping expert, assistant) arrive 3+ hours before ceremony time. The bridal session takes 2.5–3 hours including skin prep, base, eyes, contour, lips, lashes, hairstyling, and draping. The team stays through key ceremony moments for touch-ups.

Can I book makeup for all my wedding functions with one artist?

Yes. We offer complete wedding packages covering all functions — roka, engagement, mehndi, sangeet, haldi, wedding day, and reception. Multi-function bookings receive package pricing lower than booking each function individually. Most brides book 3–5 functions together.

Do you come to my home or do I need to visit your studio?

Both options are available. Bridal trials are typically done at our Sector 16 Faridabad studio. Wedding day and other function makeup is done at your home, hotel, venue, or wherever you’re getting ready. Local travel within Delhi NCR is included in the pricing.

What if I need to reschedule my wedding date?

Rescheduling is accommodated whenever possible — wedding dates shift, we understand. The booking deposit is non-refundable if cancelled within 30 days of the event. For cancellations more than 30 days out, a partial refund is available. Full terms are included in the booking confirmation.

What is the difference between HD and airbrush bridal makeup?

HD makeup uses finely milled products designed for close-up photography with buildable coverage and a natural satin finish. Airbrush uses a spray-based system for lightweight, extremely long-lasting coverage — ideal for humid climates and destination weddings. Shivangi specialises in both and recommends the right technique based on your skin type, venue, and photography style.

What brands do you use for bridal makeup?

We use only premium international brands: MAC, NARS, Dior, Huda Beauty, Fenty Beauty, Laura Mercier, Haus Labs, and Charlotte Tilbury — selected per bride based on skin type, tone, and the look you want to achieve.

How long does bridal makeup last — will it survive the full day?

Bridal makeup is engineered to last 12+ hours. HD and airbrush techniques are designed for Indian wedding conditions — Delhi summers at 40°C, Goa humidity, Rajasthan desert heat. Setting sprays, transfer-proof products, and waterproof formulas ensure the look stays intact through pheras, tears, and dancing.

What is HD Glass Skin — Shivangi’s signature look?

HD Glass Skin is a dewy, luminous finish that makes your skin look lit from within — like glass. It uses lightweight, buildable layers that feel like nothing on the skin but photograph beautifully. Will my makeup look good in photographs — no flashback or white cast?

Yes. Shivangi uses flash-tested products that are specifically formulated to avoid SPF-induced flashback. Foundation is matched under both natural and artificial light. Do you use cruelty-free or vegan products?

Are there any hidden charges?

No. Your quote includes every cost itemized — makeup, add-ons, travel (if applicable), and team. There are no surprise charges after booking. If anything changes, it’s discussed and agreed before the day.

What’s the payment process — do I pay everything upfront?

A booking deposit (typically 30–50%) is required to confirm your date. The remaining balance is due before the wedding day. Exact payment terms are shared in your custom quote.

Do multi-function packages save money compared to individual bookings?

Yes. When you book 3 or more functions together, the per-function price drops below individual booking rates. The exact savings depend on which functions you’re booking. WhatsApp us for a package quote.

Is the trial session fee separate or included in the bridal booking?

Makeup Academy & Courses

What is included in the 12-Day Bridal Makeup Course?

The course covers basic to advanced bridal makeup: skin prep, foundation, eyes, contour, HD and airbrush techniques, complete bridal looks, and freelance business setup. Includes all premium products during training, a professional portfolio photoshoot, official certification, and a curated surprise hamper. Shivangi personally teaches every batch. Fee: ₹1,00,000 + 18% GST.

Do I need any prior experience to join the course?

No. The course is designed for complete beginners and takes you from holding a brush for the first time to executing a full bridal look independently. Students range from their early 20s to mid-40s. There is no minimum age, no prerequisite qualification, and no experience requirement.

Will I get clients after completing the course?

Day 11 is entirely dedicated to freelance business setup — pricing, Instagram strategy, WedMeGood profile creation, and client consultation techniques. Day 12’s portfolio photoshoot gives you professional images for your profiles. Students who actively apply what they learn typically book their first paid client within 4–8 weeks. Ongoing WhatsApp mentorship with Shivangi continues after the course.

Is accommodation available for outstation students?

Do you travel for destination weddings outside Delhi NCR?

Yes. Shivangi and her team travel across India (Jaipur, Goa, Udaipur, Jim Corbett, Chandigarh, Kashmir, Kerala) and internationally (Sri Lanka, Canada, and more). The full team — hairstylist, draping expert, assistant — travels together.

How does destination wedding pricing work?

Destination wedding makeup starts at ₹50,000 per function. Travel, accommodation, and per-diem are quoted separately as transparent line items — never hidden inside the makeup fee. We handle our own logistics so you can focus entirely on your celebrations.

Do you adjust makeup techniques for different climates?

Absolutely. Humid Goa gets different products than dry Rajasthan. Cold Mussoorie mornings need different primers than hot Dubai afternoons. Every destination look is climate-adapted — waterproof for humidity, extra-hydrating for cold air, matte-set for desert heat.
