How does Udaipur’s winter-evening chill affect the makeup?
From November through February, Udaipur evenings drop to 10–14°C quickly after sunset. We switch to richer emollient primers and heavier cream bases for evening ceremonies — they prevent the chalky, cracked look that thin foundation develops in cold dry air. Your setting spray also changes: we use a hydration-lock variant instead of a matte-set one for winter evenings.
Most Udaipur ceremonies are by the lake or on open palace terraces — will the wind and reflected light be a problem?
Those are the two things we plan around. Open terraces and lakesides get strong reflected light off water and sandstone, so highlight and contour are placed further back than usual to read correctly in photos. Wind is handled by transfer-proof formulas and extra hairspray for drape-heavy looks; your lehenga dupatta will move, but your face won’t.

Multi-day Udaipur weddings are standard for us. The team checks in at one base hotel and travels to each venue each day with the full kit.
